Fine Chamberlain's Worcester Best Queen's pattern urn, lid and cover, each piece painted in an expanded Kakiemon palette of iron-red, blue, yellow, shades of green and gold with four panels of chrysanthemums and bound wheat alternatin with cobalt-blue panels patterned with gilt trellis diaper-work and reserved with an iron-red and white mons, the circular ankle and foot with flowers and insects against a white ground bordered in gilt husks and an Imari-palette floral band repeated on the gilt-edged cover, lid and urn rims and interrupted on the latter with gilt-heightened ram's-mask handles and the sides of the square foot bordered in iron-red foliate scrolls, C.1800, the lid with "Chamberlains Worcester " in gold script and incised numeral 25, urn measuring 12 5/8" high (22cm).
