Charles X Description/Notes: Very fine Charles X gilt bronze mantle clock with a standing figure of Spartacus standing beside a rockwork base centering a circular silvered clock dial and surmounted by a classical Roman helmet, this supported by a stepped conforming base having acanthus leaf decoration and with scrolled acanthus and palmette cast base, C. 1830, measuring 19 1/8" long (49.5cm), 7 3/8" deep (18.75cm), 26 3/4" high (68cm).
